"Would come with strings attached - and what keeps them from simply cutting us loose? We're sitting in a corporate shuttle right now and if they decide they have different priorities? Where are we then? This is too important to risk."

Aethea's thumb begins its telltale circular rubbing against her finger as she processes this possibility, her eyes briefly scanning their corporate branded surroundings before meeting Wess' gaze, a moment of understanding passing between them.

"Alright. We do this our way. For now."
